Notice to Mariners
Dangerous Wrecks, Chalong Bay, Phuket
Please exercise caution when manoeuvring close to the pier fuelling jetty; there is a sunken wreck not visible at high tide, take care to stand clear when reversing.
Phuket Cruising Yacht Club has placed markers on the wreck 300 m in front of the PCYC clubhouse: this wreck is a serious hazard, visible at low tide and is situated in transit zone between the yacht mooring area and the beach.

You can try adding ”parts for ship in transit” this may avoid duties on some packages, I see many arrive here and no duty has been charged,its just the luck of the draw. All the courier companys as well as local mail service deliver here( I use Thai post EMS express service it has never failed me and is not expensive ) Please advise us if your having something sent so the staff will be expecting it.
